I didn’t shoot this ad: one photo, one prompt, AI

I didn’t shoot the ads in this video. Each one was made from a single food photo and a single prompt, with the Higgsfield plugin inside ChatGPT, in about 10 minutes.

1. THE IDEA: WALK INTO A SMALL BUSINESS WITH A READY-MADE AD

Say you want to make an ad video for a small business in your neighborhood. It could be a restaurant you always eat at, a secondhand shop you love, a product. In this post I’m going with a restaurant.

The system works like this: you photograph the menu or your favorite dishes, and if possible the place itself (video is even better). Then a single prompt turns that material into an ad video. And you bring your offer with the ad already made.

I tried it with my own photos: a sarma, an iskender and some sushi I ate. The input was a single photo. If you can get this result from one photo, shooting the menu, the interior and the dishes separately will probably give even better results. To be honest: I don’t think these videos are great, much better is possible. But with some work they can turn out well.

One more idea for finding clients: in the US people do this a lot through Google Maps; it was quite a viral topic a few months ago. They found small restaurants and offered to build them a website. You can also find small restaurants on Google Maps and look at their menus and photos (or collect that information with a scraping tool like Apify), and build something from those photos before you make the offer.

2. SETTING UP THE HIGGSFIELD PLUGIN IN CHATGPT

This video is sponsored by Higgsfield. Every result came from the Higgsfield plugin inside ChatGPT. Setup:

  • In ChatGPT, switch to the Work tab instead of Chat and click Plugins.
  • On the plugins page, search for Higgsfield, add it and connect your Higgsfield account.
  • The only requirement is a Higgsfield account: get one here.

In the settings you see the connected account and all the plugin’s skills; Ad Multiplier is listed there as a skill too. For this video I kept three skills on: Ad Multiplier, UGC Product Video and Subtitles. To use it, open a new chat and tag Higgsfield; even just saying “use Higgsfield” makes ChatGPT bring in the plugin on its own.

Then you add the photo and paste the prompt. Roughly, this happens: it first draws the character, uploads it to Higgsfield as a reference, then picks a model and generates a 15-second video. You don’t touch anything, you just wait.

3. THE RULES OF A GOOD PROMPT

A two-line prompt isn’t enough for tools like Higgsfield, because the AI makes up whatever it doesn’t know. You have to describe a glance, a camera turn, a transition, the light, down to the smallest detail. My prompt is made of these parts:

  • Rules at the very top: “don’t ask me questions”, “I approve the credits in advance”, “if there’s an error, retry only once”. Without this, ChatGPT asks a question at every step and a 15-minute job turns into half an hour.
  • The character, full body: if you only describe the upper body, the model makes up the rest. Ideally four views: front of the face, back of the head, full body front and back. I save the character as @Image1 so it can use the same person in all eight cuts. Think of it like writing code.
  • Product reference: the photo I give is @Image2. I say “exactly the same plate in every shot”; if you don’t, the plate changes in each of the eight cuts. The photo should show only the food: no people, signs or menu text in the background.
  • 8 hard cuts in 15 seconds: the scene changes roughly every two seconds. That’s what keeps the viewer’s attention on screen. A single-shot video can look nice, but it isn’t an ad.
  • Moments that hook the viewer: dipping into sauce, ayran on the side, in this sarma example squeezing a lemon.
  • Speech and sound effects: the spoken script is written per frame; effects like the plate being set down or the lemon being squeezed are named explicitly.
  • Forbidden list: no text, no logo, no filter, no extra hands (AI has a habit of adding a hand). In a real ad, add the text and logo yourself; I left them out for this video.

If you’re doing a different dish or product instead of sarma, the prompt needs to change a bit. If I were you, I’d give the product photos together with this video’s transcript to my AI tool and have it write the prompt.

4. TURKISH SPEECH AND DUBBING

I also tried making it speak Turkish: the model swallows words, it speaks English better. You can solve this; Higgsfield also has a dubbing tool, but it costs extra credits. The videos aren’t perfect; you can add subtitles afterwards with a video editor or ask Higgsfield to do it, but that takes a bit more work on the prompt.

5. STATIC ADS WITH ADS STUDIO

Say the place you’re advertising has a website and wants a poster, a carousel post or a static image for every product. Higgsfield Ads Studio now brings two tools together in one place: Static Ads and Ad Multiplier.

In Static Ads you just enter the website link. I pasted my own site; it analyzed the site and produced a personal brand board for me without me doing anything. Then I gave it my selling points and products and chose how many ads I wanted per product. I gave it the projects on my site as products.

You can use the resulting images on your site or as a carousel post on Instagram.

6. VIDEO VARIATIONS WITH AD MULTIPLIER

Say you shot an ad video for a single product. With Ad Multiplier you can multiply that ad by swapping the product inside it, without reshooting. I made an ad for iskender and turned it into mantı, Adana kebab and sarma.

I prepared the source video for this: the woman doesn’t say the dish’s name, she just says “tonight I chose this dish.” Then I multiplied the same video four times. Same woman, same place, same camera, same transitions and cuts, same sound; only the plate changes.

  • There are two modes: with general prompt you write what you want to change; with hook you only put text on screen. They can’t both be on at once; you pick one.
  • Cost: you choose the resolution and the credits follow from it. In my test it asked 56 credits per variation; cheaper than generating the whole video again.

7. PACKAGE IT AND BRING IT

You targeted a restaurant and made both a brand board with static ads and several video variations for it. You package them and bring them to your client or your own business. That’s the whole idea.

All the prompts from the video and the skills I kept on are in the higgsfield-reklam-promptu repo. You can try Higgsfield Ads Studio here. If you think there’s a better way, leave it under the video.

Agents and Claude Code masterclass: build your own agent system, measure what it costs

The question I get most under my videos is always the same: “How much does this cost?” So I had the same job done twice, once by telling the biggest model to do it all, once by setting it up properly; the difference wasn’t in the model, it was in the setup.
